The Health Needs Assessment (HNA) identifies the health priorities and opportunities for our region. Understanding the health needs of people in our community, as well as the workforce and services that provide healthcare, is a vital first step to improving health outcomes. The HNA helps us to best manage health resources for our region to improve the health outcomes of our community.
By bringing together information from the community, local health services and the workforce, the PHN has developed a clear picture of how we can make a difference. This includes programs and services that can provide people with the right care, in the right place, at the right time. Learn more about how we approach developing the HNA.
These priorities have been assessed against available services in our region. We consider service gaps in relation to these needs, and you can view services funded by the PHN through the
PHN Services Library.
